UX Designer - design systems (Nashville, TN)

Silverline Rook Community Partners runs community programmes across Nashville. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on design systems. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Nashville. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around grant reporting that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in grant reporting. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Nashville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
