UX Designer - design systems (Nashville, TN)

Nova Ridge Insurance is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on design systems for catastrophe response, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 23 people based in Nashville. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in catastrophe response. • Experience running usability tests.
