UX Designer - design systems (Minneapolis, MN)

Lumen Harbor Transit Planning is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on design systems for service alerts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in service alerts. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Minneapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
