UX Designer - design systems (Minneapolis, MN)

Ironwood Ridge Medical Group builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Minneapolis, and we need a UX Designer to lead our design systems. You would join a small organisation of about 130 people based in Minneapolis. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around complaint handling that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in complaint handling. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Minneapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
