UX Designer - design systems (Minneapolis, MN)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Cross Transit Planning and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be design systems. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around accessibility audits that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in accessibility audits. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Minneapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
