UX Designer - design systems (Minneapolis, MN)

Bluepeak Cedar Health runs clinics and patient services around Minneapolis. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on design systems. You would join a small organisation of about 117 people based in Minneapolis. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around insurance authorisations that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in insurance authorisations. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Minneapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
