UX Designer - design systems (Milwaukee, WI)

Rivermark Haven Learning Group is an education provider in Milwaukee serving students and families, and we need a UX Designer to lead our design systems. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Milwaukee. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around learning materials that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in learning materials. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Milwaukee, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
