UX Designer - design systems (Milwaukee, WI)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Iron Learning Group and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be design systems. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Design for tasks around attendance records that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in attendance records. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Milwaukee. • We reply to every applicant.
