UX Designer - design systems (Milwaukee, WI)

Rivermark Thistle Insurance Group sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Milwaukee. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on design systems. You would join a small organisation of about 34 people based in Milwaukee. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in customer complaints. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Milwaukee, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
