UX Designer - design systems (Miami, FL)

Westbrook Forge Transit Planning is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on design systems for accessibility audits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 17 people based in Miami. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around accessibility audits that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in accessibility audits. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Miami. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
