UX Designer - design systems (Miami, FL)

Ironwood Oak Health Group provides primary and specialty care in Miami. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on design systems. Continuing education is supported. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around insurance authorisations that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in insurance authorisations. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Miami. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
