UX Designer - design systems (Miami, FL)

Westbrook Fern Transit Planning Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on design systems for fare systems, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in fare systems. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Miami, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
