UX Designer - design systems (Memphis, TN)

Foxglove Sable Community Partners is a nonprofit in Memphis supporting families with food, housing and job help. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on design systems. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around grant reporting that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in grant reporting. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Memphis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
