UX Designer - design systems (Madison, WI)

Greenridge Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around Madison. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on design systems. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in underwriting files. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Madison, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
