UX Designer - design systems (Madison, WI)

Silverline North Markets is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on design systems for supplier deliveries, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in supplier deliveries. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Madison. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
