UX Designer - design systems (Madison, WI)

Northwind Pike Insurance is an insurance company in Madison with claims and service teams, and we need a UX Designer to lead our design systems. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around customer complaints that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in customer complaints. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Madison, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
