UX Designer - design systems (Louisville, KY)

Silverline Haven Medical is a Louisville company producing monitoring and surgical equipment, and we need a UX Designer to lead our design systems. You would join a small organisation of about 53 people based in Louisville. What you will do • Design for tasks around device records that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in device records. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Louisville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
