UX Designer - design systems (Louisville, KY)

Foxglove Harbor Arts Center is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on design systems for visitor services, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 155 people based in Louisville. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around visitor services that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in visitor services. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Louisville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
