UX Designer - design systems (Las Vegas, NV)

Nova Willow Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Las Vegas, and we need a UX Designer to lead our design systems. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around catastrophe response that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in catastrophe response. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Las Vegas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
