UX Designer - design systems (Las Vegas, NV)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Lakeside Transit Planning Group and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be design systems. You would join a small organisation of about 147 people based in Las Vegas. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around service alerts that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in service alerts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Las Vegas, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
