UX Designer - design systems (Las Vegas, NV)

Fernwood Wilder Insurance is an insurance company in Las Vegas with claims and service teams. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on design systems. You would join a small organisation of about 44 people based in Las Vegas. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around customer complaints that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in customer complaints. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Las Vegas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
