UX Designer - design systems (Las Vegas, NV)

Greenridge Orchard Transit Planning is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on design systems for service alerts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 40 people based in Las Vegas. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around service alerts that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in service alerts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Las Vegas, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
