UX Designer - design systems (Knoxville, TN)

Rivermark Field Press is a printer and publisher in Knoxville serving local and national clients, and we need a UX Designer to lead our design systems. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Design for tasks around proofing that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in proofing. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Knoxville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
