UX Designer - design systems (Knoxville, TN)

We are growing our team at Cedar Nest Financial Holdings and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be design systems. You would join a small organisation of about 139 people based in Knoxville. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in regulatory reports. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Knoxville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
