UX Designer - design systems (Kansas City, MO)

Lumen Junction Markets is a Kansas City retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering, and we need a UX Designer to lead our design systems. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Design for tasks around promotions that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in promotions. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Kansas City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
