UX Designer - design systems (Jacksonville, FL)

Lumen Quill Banking Services provides everyday banking and small-business lending around Jacksonville. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on design systems. We keep decisions close to customers and expect people to explain things plainly. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around deposit accounts that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in deposit accounts. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Jacksonville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
