UX Designer - design systems (Jackson, MS)

Harborlight Meadow Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Jackson. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on design systems. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Design for tasks around supplier deliveries that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in supplier deliveries. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Jackson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
