UX Designer - design systems (Indianapolis, IN)

Foxglove Summit Community Partners runs community programmes across Indianapolis, and we need a UX Designer to lead our design systems. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around volunteer shifts that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in volunteer shifts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Indianapolis. • We reply to every applicant.
