UX Designer - design systems (Indianapolis, IN)

Harborlight Rook Markets is a Indianapolis retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering, and we need a UX Designer to lead our design systems. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around pricing that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in pricing. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Indianapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
