UX Designer - design systems (Houston, TX)

Harborlight Pike Medical is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on design systems for regulatory submissions, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 185 people based in Houston. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around regulatory submissions that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in regulatory submissions. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Houston. • We reply to every applicant.
