UX Designer - design systems (Houston, TX)

Rivermark Summit Financial provides savings, lending and payment services from Houston, and we need a UX Designer to lead our design systems. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Design for tasks around regulatory reports that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in regulatory reports. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
