UX Designer - design systems (Houston, TX)

Amberfield Fern Banking Services Group is a community-focused bank in Houston serving households and small businesses. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on design systems. Most people here started in a branch and stayed. What you will do • Design for tasks around branch operations that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in branch operations. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
