UX Designer - design systems (Houston, TX)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Corner Insurance and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be design systems. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Houston. What you will do • Design for tasks around premium billing that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in premium billing. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
