UX Designer - design systems (Houston, TX)

Northwind Cross Health Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on design systems for referrals, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around referrals that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in referrals. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Houston. • We reply to every applicant.
