UX Designer - design systems (Honolulu, HI)

Fernwood Thistle Pharma supports drug development and manufacturing around Honolulu, and we need a UX Designer to lead our design systems. You would join a large organisation of about 562 people based in Honolulu. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around release testing that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in release testing. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Honolulu. • We reply to every applicant.
