UX Designer - design systems (Honolulu, HI)

Silverline Field Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Honolulu plant. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on design systems. You would join a small organisation of about 130 people based in Honolulu. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around press runs that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in press runs. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Honolulu. • We reply to every applicant.
