UX Designer - design systems (Honolulu, HI)

Redstone Kestrel Markets Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on design systems for store inventory, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around store inventory that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in store inventory. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Honolulu. • We reply to every applicant.
