UX Designer - design systems (Honolulu, HI)

Clearpath Wilder Insurance Partners sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Honolulu, and we need a UX Designer to lead our design systems. You would join a small organisation of about 131 people based in Honolulu. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around premium billing that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in premium billing. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Honolulu, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
