UX Designer - design systems (Honolulu, HI)

Northwind Haven Early Learning operates neighbourhood childcare around Honolulu. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on design systems. We celebrate small wins and steady routines. What you will do • Design for tasks around classroom supplies that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in classroom supplies. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Honolulu, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
