UX Designer - design systems (Fresno, CA)

Amberfield Harbor Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Fresno design routes and schedules. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on design systems. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around accessibility audits that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in accessibility audits. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Fresno. • We reply to every applicant.
