UX Designer - design systems (Fort Worth, TX)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Timber Insurance Group and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be design systems. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around underwriting files that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in underwriting files. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Fort Worth, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
