UX Designer - design systems (Fort Worth, TX)

Foxglove Kestrel Insurance is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on design systems for underwriting files, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around underwriting files that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in underwriting files. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Fort Worth. • We reply to every applicant.
