UX Designer - design systems (Fort Worth, TX)

Bluepeak Junction Community Partners is a nonprofit in Fort Worth supporting families with food, housing and job help. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on design systems. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around benefits enrolment that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in benefits enrolment. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Fort Worth, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
