UX Designer - design systems (El Paso, TX)

We are growing our team at Northwind Wilder Markets and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be design systems. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Design for tasks around promotions that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in promotions. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in El Paso, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
