UX Designer - design systems (El Paso, TX)

Summit Cobalt Financial is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on design systems for account servicing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Trust is the product, so accuracy and clarity matter. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around account servicing that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in account servicing. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in El Paso, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
