UX Designer - design systems (Detroit, MI)

Greenridge Loom Pharma Partners supports drug development and manufacturing around Detroit. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on design systems. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around release testing that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in release testing. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
