UX Designer - design systems (Des Moines, IA)

Bluepeak Amber Pharma supports drug development and manufacturing around Des Moines, and we need a UX Designer to lead our design systems. Quality is everyone's job here, not a department. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around clinical studies that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in clinical studies. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Des Moines. • We reply to every applicant.
