UX Designer - design systems (Denver, CO)

Westbrook Vale Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Denver plant. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on design systems. You would join a small organisation of about 52 people based in Denver. What you will do • Design for tasks around press runs that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in press runs. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Denver. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
