UX Designer - design systems (Dallas, TX)

Foxglove West Arts Center is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on design systems for event logistics, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around event logistics that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in event logistics. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Dallas. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
