UX Designer - design systems (Dallas, TX)

Redstone Keystone Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Dallas working with agencies and riders, and we need a UX Designer to lead our design systems. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around service alerts that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in service alerts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Dallas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
